Never used a case for a watch. I don’t know anybody that uses a case on their AW. My thinking is if I’m that accident prone, maybe a G-Shock is the better choice. My wife is pretty careless and her Apple Watch 3 still looks new, same as mine. We don’t do rock climbing or anything, which is pretty much the only activity I might justify a case on a watch. If I was a mechanic I would either not wear it while working, or use a case, or resign myself to getting it beat up… which is the most logical to me because I want to be replacing it every three generations or so anyways.
Having said that… we’re still using our 3’s because they are NOT getting beat up and scratched despite using them every day. Cases would just make us look… special.
