A question for ex fitbiters, what do you miss about Fitbit and do you regret moving on to Apple watch and leaving Fitbit behind?

Fitbit is so good at auto-detecting activity. It knew when I was riding a bike. It knew when I was dancing around. With Apple Watch, the only thing it reliably detects is walks.

I had a Blaze like 6 years ago, it was pretty lacking in features. Basically the only “apps” that could run were either exercise, timer, meditation, and heart rate

Not a bad watch but def got really slow over time

I left Fitbit over a year ago and have found some excellent replacements for what it did at the time I left. At this point I’m still pretty damn happy with what I got.

    HRV/Recovery: Athlytic

    Sleep metrics: Pillow

    Honorable Mention: Auto Sleep

I hate the fact I can’t use my Apple Watch to count my total calories burnt without going into the fitness app.

On my Fitbit it was on the main screen and reset at midnight.

To me an Apple Watch is more of a phone on my wrist than a fitness tool.

Battery life. I miss only needing to charge once a week.

For everything else, I prefer my Apple Watch.

I regret nothing. My old Fitbit started collecting sweat under the glass, making it impossible to read the display. It also stopped charging.

Fitbit could show me my October total steps, as a great logging method. Or last week, etc. Apple only dies rolling totals.

I liked being able to view totals over a period of time on the Fitbit website. I set a goal to walk 2019 miles in 2019 and could just pull up the site and plug in start date and end date and view my year to date totals of steps, miles, calories, etc. Maybe Apple does this somewhere and I just haven’t found it?

the app!! having everything in one place with easy to read goals (that can be customized), i know you can use apple health but it is so cheap-looking and not as easy to use.
