My iPhone 15 Pro feels mushy with just about every USB-C cable, and some of them don’t work properly at all. They’ll continuously reset charging no matter how I plug them in. Meanwhile the Apple USB-C cable works perfectly. It connects with a satisfying click and has no charging issues at all.

These aren’t no-name cables either, they’re braided cables from reputable brands that work fine with every other USB-C device I own, including multiple Apple device. I will admit that they probably aren’t manufactured to the same tolerances as Apple, but it’s just strange that the iPhone 15’s port is apparently so sensitive.

Anyone else experience the same?

Nope Ive got a mixture of Anker and Amazon basics cables and I haven’t had a problem with them yet. In fact I haven’t even used the stupidly short 1 meter Apple cable as it’s useless for me since I wanna be able to use my phone while charging.

Have you had the third party cables longer than the Apple cable? It sounds to me like they’re just more broken in.
