My favourite part is when the prophecy could have applied to Neville or Harry. This meant that Voldemort had the option to kill either one of them. Ultimately, he chose Harry. However, there was a possibility that Neville could have been The Boy Who Lived. It’s a shame this plotline didn’t make it into the movies.

It’s fun to speculate how the story would have proceeded if it was Neville Longbottom & The Philosopher’s Stone 😂.

It’s disappointing that “Have a biscuit, Potter” was cut from Order of the Phoenix. It’s one of the most memorable quotes from the entirety of Harry Potter.

In book seven where Dudley apologizes to Harry and they find an understanding.

In the second book where Harry sees Dobby’s eyes in the bushes and has no idea what’s going on yet.

Harry’s presents he got from his friends in the third book before term starts.

These are smaller moments, but I love them. Dudley finally grows a bit beyond his parents hatred and the other two are bits that add to the world that I feel gets lost a bit in the movies.

I also always forget that the movies don’t include the “Neville could be the chosen one” plot line! 😅 Read the books so much as a kid that it feels like everyone knows what was in them as common knowledge.
