Why are most iPhone cases now clear in different colors?

For me I like fully covered ones because clear cases look so ugly to me

Fully covered ones seem more aesthetically pleasing to me

    I agree, I think the shiny clear cases with the white magnet look tacky. But I support the right to be gaudy
