Hi there, after two month of Apple Watch Ultra 1 I’m evaluating to sell it for an AW8 or an AW9. Ultra as an amazing bulk design, it’s solid with the titanium case and the Shapire glass’s The battery is ok, but there are no big differences from a one day or a two days battery life (Garmin for example won in terms of battery). In my case the main problems of the ultra are the size, it is light but is not appropriate in some situations (for example in the office). Standard Apple Watch is a “transparent” watch, the people doesn’t see it when you wear on your wrist. Ultra is too showy…
Anyone in my situation? What you miss of your ultra?
I had to choose between getting an Ultra 2 or an S9 and I chose the S9. I wore Casio G-Shocks for about half my life and I didn’t want to go back to that style of watch.
And I downgraded to an S9 and miss the Ultra.
What do you miss about your ultra? For me battery life is not a problem, charge the watch Every day or every two days is the same for me
Yeah that’s what I continue to miss, the slightly longer battery life and some of my former watch faces. The S9 is nice though.
I tried going back to my old S7 for a week, mainly as an experiment. I just couldn’t get used to the smaller size again from the Ultra.
I’d buy it for $400 if interested
I sell it for 500 bucks, only in Italian market
I had the same issues and did grab an aw9 obviously battery life is not as great but a charge a day gives it no issue. Glad I went from ultra to aw9 better comfort all around
Exactly why I got ss9. More appropriate for office. The battery? After a day of full use I still have half left. I get home, take off the watch, put it on the stand and in 45 min it’s topped up again. The battery is a non issue.
