Should I buy XSS or PS5 later? What are pros and cons of both? I don’t have 4k monitor/TV, I don’t have much money, so I’ll use subscriptions (Gamepass, PS plus). I don’t really car about PS5 exclusives, they just seem like a nice addition to the console.

PS5 and Xbox Series X Pros and cons

    Ps5

Pros: You get the PS5 exclusive games, A very interactive controller, Can play PS4 games, you can use VR, and You can play online with friends. (With annual purchase)

Cons: there is a paywall if you want to play games PS3 and later, If you put a ps3 or later disc in the PS5 it will reject it.

    Xbox Series X

Pros: You can get games from The Xbox series X era to the original Xbox Era with no paywall. Like if you just wanted a few games from the original xbox or Xbox 360 era you can do that. You can put Xbox 360 and later discs in the Series X and most of them will be accepted. You can play with friends also. (With annual pass purchase.)

Cons: The controller looks barely updated, You need AA batteries for the controller, so far only there is no further plans to make unique accessories, also you have to buy a Expensive memory card if you ran out of storage. The portable Hard drives do not work on series X games but older games.

I’ll raise you to save your money and buy a pc because PlayStation has zero games that make a ps5 worth it(roommate has a pas5 and series x) as of right now and the Xbox is absolutely no better they just own a lot of companies like Bethesda. Where as pc you don’t have to limit yourself to what you want and you will never have to wait for scalpers to stop buying all of the stock and charging you 1500 for a $400 console. I kept my ps4 just to play certain games

As someone who sold my Series S and bought a PS5, wait for the PS5. No regrets at all.
