Yes, he is also a gamer.

But we play only sometimes together, because we both like to play at our own pace. But since a few years we started to play some games simultaneously, so that we actually can talk about our impressions, our decisions etc.

But there are some classic games we actually play in Coop or VS… like Unreal Tournament 2004, Halo: Combat Evolved or FreeSpace 2 :D

Also we played through some Coop-only games like Operation: Tango, A Way Out, It takes Two or the Army of Two series.

My wife doesn’t play at all, nor does she watch when I play. Our hobbies are almost completely the opposite.

My wife didn’t used to. She always got snippy with me for buying PC upgrades. Decided to save the old parts and build her her own PC. Got her a steam account and a few games I thought she might find interesting, and now she loves it. Even my daughter has gotten into it, and we all play minecraft once in a while

She has before, but generally no, and that’s okay. It’s a good thing to have separate interests and space.

She doesn’t game “with me” because she has some issues with her wrists and she can’t play games like it takes two and unravel anymore (relatively fast controller input required) and play at my same pace, but she does game while I game in the same room.

Sometimes. I adore single player games but he’s more into multiplayer (Im not). He likes to watch me play though so we get to experience the game together.

My wife doesn’t like most more or less violent games. But she did watch and show interest in the Horizon games. She knows those that that’s my hobby and an important way for me to decompress.

My wife tries, but it’s really hard to get her into a game. Pretty much It Takes Two is the only coop game that’s hooked her. She loved Stray as well.

I tried like hell to get he into Stardew Valley, but she had trouble picking up the point on Switch and she soured on it…and once she’s got a bad opinion of something she’s the type it’s virtually impossible to get her to go back.

Fingers crossed they can make another It Takes Two -ish game. I really enjoyed playing together

Nope … Just some kart games in the Switch. Nothing I also enjoy playing unfortunately. I’d love to play together!

I game a lot. Mostly shooters and strategy games. My wife likes stuff like Animal Crossing but she doesn’t play a lot.

Sometimes we’ll play together. We tried Overcooked and It Takes Two, but didn’t stick with them for very long. I keep trying to get her into stuff but she just isn’t all that interested.

I introduced my wife to Minecraft 8 years ago and she got hooked to it and we played for a while together.

She hasnt tried any other PC games since and still plays Minecraft so I have been playing PC games with my buddies for a while now!

My wife and I play everything together if possible. For cinematic games we just take turns. Beat Jedi Survivor just the other night and we each beat 50% of the last boss passing the controller back and forth.

Co op games are great but cinematic games can work too since they can be so fun to watch. The story and graphics are super fun even as a spectatir for games like the Last of Us, God of War, etc.

We both game, but usually not together. Most of the games where our interests overlap are single-player, so we’ll take turns playing and watching each other. If we play something together, it’s probably one of our kid’s Switch games like Mario Party or Mario Kart, and then I’m a slightly better gamer but she’s far more competitive so it isn’t a great combination, lol.

My wife always wanted to play videogames as a teen but the parents did not budge and did not buy her a console. Now she’s having a renaissance after getting the Platinum for Ghost of Tsushima and beating Wind Waker, several Yakuza, Persona 5, both of the last God of War, both The Last of Us and Elden Ring to name a few.

When she decided to give a shot to Baldur’s Gate 3, she insisted on couch co-op and we had an amazing time all the way through.
