His whole horror injury, the goal/celebrity death ratio all makes him a fun one to remember
Ramsey is almost too good for this list. His clutch FA Cup final goals alone guarrantee more than the streets will remember him.
Don’t know about best, but Mousa Dembele would be the submission from Spurs in the last several years. Everyone from that stacked Belgium squad from 2016-2018 or so seemed to all feel that Dembele was the best player they’d played alongside.

Yeah in a way he was a nice emblem of those late 2010s Spurs teams - awesome to watch 90% of the time but always a bit lacking in the finish.

He gets tons of praise from his teammates because I’m sure he bossed them in short sided games and other training drills. But yeah, the end product was often lacking in actual matches.
Which is why the team was basically built around him. He’d win the ball back, beat the press, then hand it off to Eriksen who would orchestrate the attack.

Wilshere. I truly believe if it wasn’t for his injuries he would be a top-midfielder. Maybe not the same calibre as Stevie, Frank or Scholesy. But damn, when he was fit and on point he was really, really good. And that’s coming from a United fan.

Nani. If you watch a highlight reel of Nani’s tricks and best goals you’d think he was the greatest to grace the game, he was special on his day but was never really consistent for long enough at the top.
