Terraria for me
Runescape because its the only game ive played alot of that actually can be played forever without end
Dwarf fortress, but can we wait until adventure mode is implemented
Pokemon Go. It’s fun and keeps me active!
Same terraria for me. So many good mods and replayability
Factorio, 3k hours in and at least as much ahead of me
Dark Souls. It taught me about the life.
Easily Final Fantasy Tactics for me.
I’ve done the calculations before, but the TL;DR is that one challenge run I enjoy, the Tactics Double Dare, has 116,000+ variations just for the basic game without using cheats to use special, enemy or ally specific Job Classes.
Even an emulated run using frameskips to speed it up would probably take 20-30 hours on average, meaning that to do all the variations would take just under 332 years of play to do them all. That’s actual play time, mind you, not including necessities like sleeping, eating, generating an income, interacting with friends and family or playing anything else.
With cheats to allow for NPC/Enemy Job Classes, it easily reaches into the millions of potential variations, with an equally absurd playtime.
Halo reach, istg I’ve never gotten tired of it
Heroes of Might and Magic 3. It’s well over 20 years old and still my all time favorite game.
Oxygen Not Included
Football Manager. Can always do a different save or just keep one going forever
Tetris
I might go crazy but at least I’ll have my funny little blocks to keep me company.
Bloodborne. Never gets old.
sigh Skyrim
Same. Or Fallout 4. As long as I can mod them I can get lost in the worlds forever.
