For the longest time, Metroid Dread was that game.
I guess now it would be metalgear rising 2 because of Konami’s bullshit. I feel so sad whenever I think about the madness and music we could have had in that game.
So I’m going to preface this with “I love kojima” but he was just sucking money and extending his deliverable date by the end. Konami was justified in saying “we are shipping or it’s shut down” on phantom pain.
I agree but at the same time… it’s fucking Kojima. Sony wrote the dude a blank check and he made a weird ass cool delivery boy simulator and just threw a bunch of people he thought was cool into the game… and 10 million copies later it was a success.
Dude 100% in my opinion gets to do what he wants. He makes cool shit when allowed to go wild.
