It’s on all console and pc! it LOOKS like minecraft, but plays like World of Warcraft.

There is so much freedom in this game, there is no main play style that you have to adhere to, you can also customise the way you look with thousands (literally) of different styles.

You run through dungeons, whether you want to bomb straight to the boss to speedrun or go through a puzzle, it’s your choice.

You are also rewarded for everything you do, it’s great for when you’re in need of a dopamine fix, you don’t really get bored of it either, you always have something to do :$

Hello Trove veteran here, I started the game a very long time ago, I think around 5-6 years ago and it was amazing. I used to play all the time grinding for better gear and gems to get my pr higher. Eventually it just got to repetitive and the community became a little toxic so I decided to just stop playing. Around a year later i decided to get back into the game for old time sake so I made a new account. Than it just became a cycle of playing and taking a very long hiatus from the game. I think I’ve made 4 different accounts, this time I just decided to stick with this one account.

Although it is fun at time, the game isn’t as fun as it used to be and it’s pretty meta heavy I’d say. You can still play classes you like but you would progress slower than everybody else. You’d want to pick a class that can move fast and can deal a lot of damage to clear dungeons as fast as possible. When you’re doing delves you need a class that does a ton of damage or clear speed. There haven’t been any new releases for the game either except for some cosmetics that come with season events. Most of there time they just reuse old cosmetics which is a bit disappointing. The “new” classes are insanely expensive to get. Getting a higher pr and light was also a very hellish and time consuming experience. Constantly grinding only to not get the gem I needed or all my stat rerolls just sucked causing me to wait another week. The company that owns the game now too seems to be lazy with the effort they put into Trove.

Just to be clear, I’m not hating on the game. I still love the game as it has a special place in my heart. I’m only talking from the experiences I’ve had with the game. I play the game now and than and still have an enjoyable experience. It was the game that gave me the love for rpgs, but now it kinda lost the light it used to have.

I can definitely see where you’re coming from!! I’m a 35k Neon Ninja, so I may be a bit biased because I forgot what the game is like to new players/slower classes and it is definitely hellish getting power rank to max, but the payoff is really good!
