A game that came to my mind for me when it comes to being shitty but has probably the best soundtrack setlist in the series is Megaman X6, arguably one of the worst Megaman game in comes to gameplay and difficulty, but one thing that makes it crazy is the soundtrack, it’s varied and they slap much harder than even the first Megaman X
Link The Faces of Evil Zelda The Wand of Gamelon
Totally unfitting for a real Zelda game, but on their own, there are a few bops.
Almost every modern Sonic games
I don’t know if the soundtrack itself applies but the pause music to Battletoads still slaps.
Age of Conan
Korean gamers will immediately think of Talesweaver
Transition and bastion

Megamari was dreadful to play but love listening to the soundtrack
TMNT on NES. The game was bad in a sense that it was too damn hard for kids who were fans of the series (like me) but my god do I love the soundtrack!
Maybe that’s what kept us playing?
Final Fantasy 7
One of the greatest video games ever made, but ok.
Hear me out: destiny 2 soundtracks before witch queen
People always like to bring up destiny 2’s soundtrack… the OG soundtrack was 44 songs and like only 2 of them were any good. Having one track with a violin doesn’t negate 40 other generic tracks.
Buck Bumble
Bum to the bum to the bum to the bass
buckity buck…BUMBO
castlevania 2
This should be higher up, this is the one that introduced Bloody Tears, one of the best OST songs of all time. Terrible game though.
Pokémon SwSh and S/V
I wouldn’t say it’s shitty, but it’s nothing to write home about. Its soundtrack however is topnotch: Bomberman Hero
