    I thought this was the goal of far cry blood dragon. Go so overtly over-the-top 80’s scifi action movie bad that it’s actually good.

    I loved the Playstation Wu Tang game. The trashiest fighting game ever, made instantly hilarious by both the Wu Tang controller and the shockingly bad dialogue.

    Oh, and that Bruce Willis game (Apocalypse?) about the Four Horsemen, for similar reasons.

    If you go back now, in 2023 and play GTA Vice City; its so rubbish, the controls, the graphics, the PC port that needs mods to run properly, the everything; its so bad. But its SUCH a vibe.

    Pokemon Go

    First of all because whole gameplay is based on a glitch called quick/fast catch. Using it improves your efficiency severalfold.

    On the other hand there is so many bugs that is widely accepted as the matter of fact. And even though it sucks in many technical aspects people love it, making it one of the most popular games. Using glitches became part of the game. And some of them are hoped never to be patched.

    I’ve been on the Half Sword demo for the last few days. The jank is the charm, and being in an endless death pit forced to murder clones of yourself with medieval weaponry with extremely rudimentary controls is some of the most fun I’ve had in gaming.

    A bit obscure but Blaze and Blade for the first playstation.

    It’s just an awful, awful game. It’s has next to no story, it’s janky and literally encourages gambling when you create your character.

    Me and my friend have spent hours on this game. When you create your character you have to roll three 6-sided die to get your stats but if you roll a triple of any number then you get to roll again. Cue my friend and I endlessly rolling to get a couple of triple 6’s and massively OPing our characters. I have a hard copy in the loft because I can’t bring myself to get rid of it.

    Terrible game, 10/10.

    Minecraft, everything is super pixelated, there’s only one attack, the first thing you do will probably kill you. And yet it’s so good it got on this years people’s voice awards.

    The entire Earth Defense Force series.

    The gameplay is repetitive as hell and the graphics have only mildly improved due to just the sheer number of enemies in the game at one time, otherwise it’d probably blow up even the best of consoles. Literally just running around killing a fuck ton of giant bugs and aliens and shit

    I CANT STOP FUCKING PLAYING
