I’m having the same problem. Clicking the link, searching in voyager, searching with either the full URL or short doesn’t fine anything other than another Aussie one or this post. I’m sure I’ve added other new communities simply. Is it a syntax or formatting thing?
Search for frugal@lemmy.world under “communities”, that works for me. I’m hoping future updates will improve community subscriptions.
Try using an exclamation point before the link, that works for me in Voyager.
