Yes. It’s a lot better than only relegating 3 teams.
My hot take is that there should be 6 teams relegated. So that some teams play in the Sul Americana while in Serie B.
Well, teams can actually play in Libertadores whilst in Serie B by winning Copa do Brasil. Happened to Palmeiras once.
Santo André and Paulista won Copa do Brasil in 2004 and 2005. Both was Série B teams at time.
