If the game lets you choose good or evil
Pathfinder: Wrath of the righteous.
It’s similar to Baldur’s gate but on pathfinder which is (imo) a much better system than 5e.
In the game you choose a mythic path which grants you incredibly strong abilities but also drastically alters your gameplay and story interactions. You can have the powers of an Angel, Lich or even just be the embodiment of a swarm, so intense that you actually kill your whole party.
I loved how well the game does at fulfilling the fantasy of the path you choose. In my lich playthrough I really felt like an unstoppable mage with incredible power.
I recommend playing in turn based mode.
Vampire masquerade redemption, depending on your perspective. You become the ultimate being at the cost of sacrificing your beloved and reject your humanity completely
But worth 😏
Diablo Immortal paid off for Blizzard
Darkest Dungeon teaches you that it’s cheaper to hire new people for your party rather than heal them of curses and illnesses. And there’s always a sucker waiting to be bought.
SWTOR
Being evil in games has really paid off for EA and Activision.
COD Black Ops cold war. In the evil version you kill all your teammates, cause you find out you’ve been serving a lie all along. While in the good version you are thanked for your service to the country and then killed off to tie loose ends.
SWTOR you are the main character
Terra Invicta:
I’ve tried to be good.
I’ve played nice with the other human factions.
I’ve prioritized developing the economy and welfare of nations under my control instead of pillaging them for resources. …
But when I see that the protectorate has put an outpost on every site on Mercury (no other structures, just an outpost to claim all the mining resources), there’s nothing for it but a fleet of railgun armed interplanetary spacecraft bent on committing some atrocities.
Politics
I feel like Infamous 1 and 2 was really cool for that type of mechanic
Dungeon Keeper 2.
almost every inFAMOUS game lmao you can go around just doing whatever without worry
Tyranny
Prototype. You are the virus.
