Surely everyone here agrees that Salah has already cemented his status as a Premier League great right?

Seen some really mad stats from him lately

What strikes me about him is that he’s almost always available for selection too. (Played in 325/355 matches since signing). Unused sub three times, he missed six games in 2022 due to AFCON. Could miss PL games v Bournemouth, Chelsea & Arsenal next month due to AFCON

Comes across as a pretty nice guy too Constantly puts up great G/A numbers as well

Top top footballer

Ya no shit, hes a legend.

Hes got everything to be a PL legend-

    1. He broke the scoring record and set a new one, albeit the life of that being a few years - that answers the question of setting benchmarks
    2. Hes a PL winner, and multiple times been on teams with 95+ points - that answers the question of legacy to the fans
    3. Hes scored more than 20+ goals 4 times in PL and twice 19 goals, while oncourse for another 20 goal season this time as well. Talk about consistency- i think only Henry, Shearer, Kane has these kinda numbers
    4. Hes had tremendous success against UTD,Everton,Chelsea and City - the rivals, big teams Liverpool was competing with.

Ya safe to say hes a PL legend and future HOF.

He’s the best player in the second best team of this era. The equivalent of Thierry Henry at Arsenal. He will absolutely be remember as one of the greats.

Preface with this, I’m not a Liverpool fan and don’t have a care for the club.

If Salah was European or South American, he’d already be considered one of the greatest in premier league history. His numbers are insane.

He is the most consistent player in PL history. Just the numbers alone as a Winger, goals scored against big teams, PL trophy, Player of the season.

This may sound bias but to me, he is top 5 all time best PL players. Just way too many goal contributions and he takes proper care of himself.

I think if he was English he would have been called the greatest PL player of all time.

Why ‘already’? He’s in his thirties. His status was already settled.
