Bought this on PC a few days ago for $16 and it’s so boring.
It’s just the same stuff over and over?
Rdr2 has really ruined games for me. Like I can’t even jump on a rock and shoot my bow from on top of it, because they put invisible walls around it, despite it being the perfect height to jump onto.
Could not possibly disagree more on whether it’s boring. I’m not sure where you got the idea that it’s the same stuff over and over, did you mean the stuff in the prologue mission, because once it ‘opens up’ post prologue you can do whatever you want.
There are some rocks you can’t jump to, but they’re pretty few and far between and mostly situated in major story areas or arenas that they don’t want you cheesing a fight in. Other than that, I was all over the mountainsides, sliding up and down hills and slow mo jumping off cliffs. I highly recommend giving it another shot with the mindframe that it’s a different kind or action RPG than you’re used to, I promise that the story is compelling and the bigger monster takedowns can feel so satisfying.
The game is pretty good, but it definitely does get pretty repetitive. Especially the side missions which pretty much all come down to tracking some footsteps and killing a few enemies
I don’t know, I think the average reader would believe you are referring to the sequel. Aaaand that’s just about enough time wasted on this conversation.
Open world games are a hit or miss for me, enjoyed the hell out of the first Horizon, Red Dead Redemption and Spiderman. Couldn’t stand more than a few hours of Assassin Creed or Far Cry.
Ubisoft open worlds are shit and have been for a long time. Stuffed to the brim with inconsequential trinkets and time wasters, copy paste design between their various games, and all are wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle.

How could you possibly buy this on PC if it’s not coming to PC until 2024?
Is it illegal to read articles?
The article literally mentions Zero Dawn and how it’s currently on sale in preparation for the new game coming out.
It’s a post about buying Zero Dawn on the steam page for Zero Dawn.
The article is about the impending release of the sequel.
And it’s posted in the Zero Dawn forum telling people to pick up the Zero Dawn game on sale.
My comment was about how boring it was, after I picked it up on sale.
Not really that hard to understand.
Headline: Sequel on sale 2024!
You: I played it. It sucks.

The average reader would read past the headline. This isn’t Reddit. Don’t blame me because you skim titles.
Gaslighter.
Illiterate
The mission structure in rdr2 was so rigid, you fail if you don’t do it exactly like rockstar wants you to.
And they don’t tell you in advance what they want. It’s so boring. That’s why I preferred to Just roam in the open world.

Personally I liked both Horizon and RDR2 but I find it stupid that people are downvoting you for just voicing your opinion.
How else are we going to show if we agree or disagree with the opinion? The whole site is based around voting a post or comment up or down.
