If anyone has a community that needs moderation, I’ll have a lot of free time after moving away from Reddit.
How often do you see shit that you really didn’t want to see and do you end up getting desensitized to the content?
I’ve never been traumatized, thankfully. You get pretty desensitized to porn, though. It’s not as fun as some may think.
Why are you still a moderator for Reddit?
I get to talk to cute girls.
I doubt that lol
Why would you doubt that? I run the verification system. The whole job is to talk to girls and make sure they’re human. :D
What are some of the worst things you’ve had to moderate?
I haven’t seen too bad stuff. There was one person who would use filters to make themselves look like a kid. I had arguments with the admins that they were a kid. It was a whole thing. They’re still posting, too.
Wow

Never seen anyone. There are sometimes people in the comments offering Cp, though.

Yeah
How often do you get illegal porn submitted to your sub?
None that I’ve seen.
How much time does it take to moderate a sub?
1-2 hours per day. I mostly worked on the weekends.
What sub did you moderate?
r/pussy r/YoungGirlsGoneWild r/gwpublic r/SpreadEm r/anal_gifs r/FrogButt r/GirlsOnTop r/PUBLICNUDITY r/GreatView r/RiskyPorn r/ExtraSmall r/KidsAreStupid r/Pokemonbreasts r/onepiecebreasts r/furryrp r/thickrule34 r/belfiepics r/furryfemboyyiff r/hentaieldenring r/thelegendofzeldar34
…FrogButt?
It’s a pose that became popular because butts are awesome.
Agreed
Yup
I did not know about the existence of 90% of these…
Sounds like your loss.
Well, don’t you think I went back and checked? 😏
Sounds like you have fixed the error of your ways.
How involved is the moderation process? Have you ever had to escalate things beyond your community?
One time, I had someone that looked like a kid. The moderation process is pretty simple. It’s just like normal Reddit, but you can see reports, and you can remove other people’s posts and comments.
Oh fuck I thought I had a hard time moderating queer Reddit, I’m sure you’ve seen similar levels of fucked up shit.
You’d never believe the horrors. (It’s really not that bad. The comment sections are pretty creepy, though.)
I’m actually surprised it’s not that bad. Though I suppose people understand Reddit was moderated before last month so they wouldn’t post illegal content and such there
The reddit admins have actually implemented a lot of stuff behind the scenes. I think most of the features they’ve added were for moderation.
How much time does moderating cost (if the answer is “it depends”, can you specify what it depends on and give a range)? Does having to moderate ever get in the way of life?
Life always comes before moderating, it’s very much a hobby. At most, moderation takes an hour a day. Sometimes, it’ll take 2 hours if I have nothing better to do.
how many dick pics do you see everyday?
Very few
