I wonder what’s your favorite part of the plot was, what was your favorite musical theme while you played these niche games.
We can discuss these games in further posts, but rn I just want to know if lemmy gaming scene has at least a dozen of persons thoroughfully traumatized by these dramatic pieces just like I am. Who got moved, had thoughts about these pieces of fiction. I would love to hear that.
I’d really enjoy a discussion about Nier’s and Yourha’s motivation in these games, just like I’d love to discuss the suicidal offence of Pascal and the Shadowlord’s small civil war against his replicant clone.
I can’t say Yoko Taro’s work has always landed for me, but I can appreciate the fact that he doesn’t ever half-ass his vision. You can’t really find many other games like Nier and Drakengard out there, so he’s got me interested in whatever he does next.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE EARTH IS TIDALLY LOCKED YOKO???
I love Nier!
And I love you for claiming that, dear anonymous person.
I can’t wait for his game set in a modern day japanese high school… What do you mean Atlus are still making persona games.
In all seriousness, i love the goof ball that is yoko taro.
I’ve also only played nier on the ps3 and even then i’ve only finished one ending, so i really haven’t experienced everything taro has to offer.
I am planning on playing automata after i finish some of my backlog. Sorry that i didn’t add much to the conversation.
But yes i’m a big fan of Yoko taro and i’d love to get one of those nier automata t-shirts.
Feel free to write me back when you start to expirience it. I’m curious what it’s like to see it for the first time. My vision is too blured by same projects to know how it would be for an interested commoner. I’d love to hear your and others’ perspectives.
