No. The battery life is bad, it is slow, and the camera is comparable to a 15 year old flip phone. It is fun to play with, but both the hardware and software need to improve before I could use it as my only phone.
Damn that sucks, very much so.
I got a PinePhone Pro to mess around / have fun with. I couldn’t get any phone features to work (calling/texting). It’s fun to install software on any low-power machine and see what works. But it’s a long way to go for a true Android replacement.
I use it everyday (typing this on it), but not as phone replacement. With the keyboard is a great ultra portable tiny laptop. I also have an old phone with Ubuntu Touch, that is a better candidate as android replacement.
In terms of software, linux is ready for phones already. In terms of hardware the og pp isnt xD. Sent from my dual-boot oneplus 6 running LineageOS and droidian, which previously had postmarketOS and KupferOS
