!cats@lemmy.world is a pretty big community with an active userbase, but it only has a single mod that hasn’t been active in 6 months. No actions in the mod log either. As of now, the community seems to regulate itself pretty good, but not having a mod might still pose a problem if scammers / spam bots show up.
