And western intervention always saves the day!

Just like in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan! We should trust them, this time is different. /s

A reminder that the US wanted to clear the Taliban, only to leave 20 years later to… the Taliban in control?

      Intervention?

They are literally attacking innocent boats. You can hardly blame the US for starting this, every death will rest solely on the theocratic brutally oppressive authoritarian state of Iran.

The USA is run by fascists who support and enable the genocide of Palestenians by sending money to zionists murderers. It’s not the high moral horse you think it is compared to Iran.

Every death rest solely on the theocratic brutally oppressive authoritarian state of the United States.

The US certainly has a long history of doing terrible shit but the facts are really clear here. Iranian proxy forces are trying to sink civilian ships. There’s not any moral ambiguity about those actions, civilian ships are not legitimate targets. You can’t go around trying to blow up everything in a major shipping lane and then not expect a substantive response. Claiming the US is at fault for reacting to this escalation from the Houthis, or that Iran has any kind of moral superiority when it too has a long history of doing terrible shit (and its proxy forces are actively engaged in terrorist attacks against civilian ships), just does not make sense. It feels like maybe your hatred of the US is clouding your assessment of the situation.

          Okay.

That doesn’t change what Iran is doing in Yemen.

Or do you think pointing out two wrongs makes one of them okay?

You are literally pointing out one wrong (Iran involvement in Yemen) to make another (US military intervention) okay.

You’re also ignoring the greater evil, the one that radicalized Houthis in the first place: the Saudi-led genocide that the US and UK are supporting.

When was the last time a gay man was slowly strangled to death by hanging him from a crane, IN THE US?

When was the last time a woman was murdered by a state sanctioned fashion police?

Yeah, the US has a lot of issues, internal and external, but comparing that government to that of to Iran is just really really shitty and naive.
