It’s 6 pm here, but since you all are from all over, this is probably close enough to the middle.
Most of us have probably only been here about 6 months, but I’ve enjoyed all my superb time with you all this year. I look forward to the upcoming year with all of you, and everyone new we pick up along the way!
I hope I keep finding great owl photos and news stories for you to look forward to, and that they bring you a smile every day!

Honestly, I had NO idea there were so many different kinds of owls before I started seeing your information posts. It’s been a joy reading them. Thank you and can’t wait to see what shenanigans we get up to this year.
Same here. I expected maybe 80 or 100 owls, not 250ish!
It’s also impressive that they’ve remained so mysterious to us, even though humans have been fascinated with them for tens of thousands of years. There are so many owls we still don’t know for sure where they live or what they eat, etc .
But as soon as we do find out, I’ll tell you! 😉
