Remember when we thought it couldn’t get any worse than Bush Jr.?

    Those were the days.

Yeah, but imagine someone with trump like appeal, but competent? The only saving grace of the trump presidency is that he was such an utter buffoon that he wasn’t able to break as many things as someone who had anything resembling a game plan.

Hopefully, he has demonstrated that the US can’t rely on people’s good faith to respect the insitution of the presidency, and more checks and balances are put into place.

You could vote for someone crazy like me. I at least don’t like actively hurting people that aren’t my brothers (they know what they did) (and even then nit that much. Just give me back my favorite shirt dude) (yeah I know you’re not on Lemmy shit up) (that typo is staying) but at least I’d get the train to toot its whistle at 1am because that’s pretty much my entire platform. I sleep better when the train toots at 1.

Remember when he said that one of his favorite childhood books was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”? You know, the book that was published when he was 23 years old?

Jesus, I hadn’t heard that one. I’mma have to google that, that’s hilarious. My bet is that his ACTUAL favorite childhood book wouldn’t poll well for some reason, and “Hungry Caterpillar” sounded safe.
