      It’s mocking people who actually complain about wokeness by attributing something so absurd to it.

        Ah, it can be very hard to tell the difference between someone using it mockingly and being serious sometimes.

          I feel out of touch that it doesn’t strike enough resemblance to anything I read, so didn’t set my parody alarm off.

      Woke is used for satire almost as much as it is used for bigotry. The word has almost no meaning at this point. (Based?)
