The US and the UK have launched an attack on Yemen, striking the cities of Sanaa and Hodeidah, Houthi spokesman Abdulsalam Jahaf said early on Friday.

Washington and London have not made any official announcements as of yet. However, multiple British and American outlets reported that an attack was “imminent” on Thursday evening, citing anonymous sources inside the White House and 10 Downing Street.

“Now America, Britain, and Israel are launching raids on Hodeidah, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Saada,” Jahaf said on X (formerly Twitter). “We will discipline them, God willing.”

There were at least three explosions in Sanaa, Reuters reported citing local witnesses.

Officially known as Ansar Allah (‘Supporters of God’), the Houthis declared solidarity with Gaza in late October, reacting to Israel’s offensive against the Palestinian enclave. They have since carried out over 20 attacks on various shipping vessels in the Red Sea, a major trade route connecting Europe and Asia via the Suez Canal. Major shipping companies have responded by rerouting their ships around Africa, driving up prices and insurance costs.

Sad that the Yemenis are the only ones materially trying to do anything to stop the genocide of Palestinians aside from Hezbollah of course who are at least tying the zionists up in the north a little.

What if anything is Iran doing at this point I wonder. If they’re not supplying weapons to Yemen, well that’s unfortunate.

Let’s hope that this expansion of aggression triggers reactions from more countries in support of Palestine

I think an ugly reality is that these countries are also weighing the price the Palestinian martyrs are paying against that immense damage this is all doing to the Western propaganda machine. The lies that the West uses to gain its peoples’ approval for the evil it commits across the world are falling apart. If and when Arab countries get involved and bring this all to a full-scale war, those same lies will immediately start getting traction again.

I already hated living in the United Kingdom, but after last night I’m genuinely and truly ashamed to be a citizen of this country. I hope Biden, Rishi, and every other evil piece of Zionist shit who is enabling this genocide dies.

One commenter on the RT article put it very well.

Anything else I wish here for the Northwest will probably be a crime.

They will be made an example of.

I highly doubt troops will even be landed. They’ll just bomb them back into the Stone Age as Israel is doing in Gaza.

That’s the only form of warfare the US knows how to do, they haven’t won a “boots on the ground” conflict since ww2.

They didn’t win that one, either. They just happened to be on the winning side. And when I say they were on the winning side, I mean they were on both sides and quickly pretended they were only on one.

The Saudis found out that that isn’t so easy to do even when you have billions of dollars of American weapons. Why does everyone assume that the US and UK will do any better? The Saudis at least are familiar with the region and were able to somewhat find allies among the locals, but Westerners are basically universally hated there. They will achieve nothing but kill more civilians.

We are saying the exact same thing. Did I ever say that the US or UK would “fare better”? They don’t care, they’re just going to carpet bomb Yemen. They don’t care about any sort of victory.

The usual suspects up to their usual shenanigans.
