Sraight after Threads, Dinsdale starred alongside John Thaw in the ITV sitcom Home To Roost.

Dinsdale, 61, originally from Normanton, Wakefield, has a long list of TV, film and stage credits including starring roles in the 90s ITV crime drama Thief Takers and Kenneth Branagh’s film adaptation of Hamlet.

That’s not to forget his role in Coronation Street and on Emmerdale where he has worked in front of and behind the camera.>
