As an Australian, no we didn’t. We just had it put in context. Jews around the world are great people, the Israeli government and the hardline supporters are absolute monsters. I hope the Australian government tells them as much. Israel deserves no support and everything that may happen when it’s withdrawn.

Yeah that’s exactly what I’m saying. And come back to me when Austria is preventing Slovakia from actually governing or building any infrastructure.

Sure. The thing is, Israel does not prevent Gaza from governing itself. The fact there are many security checks regarding what gets in is pretty logical considering the land is lead by a terrorist group.

Uhhh, that’s funny because Israel completely controls the Gazan border. Even the Egyptian section is subject to Israeli oversight and the second the Egyptians made rumblings about letting aid in Israel sent troops to physically secure it and prevent that from happening.

After Hamas attacked Israel, yes. But before they simply had no stance there. It is a border between 2 different nations out of which none is Israel.

Nope, it’s a long standing agreement. Trucks crossing the border have to drive down to an Israeli inspection point before entering Gaza. Israel physically controlled the border until 2005. And this agreement is what keeps Israeli troops off the border.

And Egypt has an agreement with them such that any trucks entering have to drive down the border to an Israeli entrance before going to Gaza. Which gives Israel De Facto control. Israel has also announced they intend to take physical control of the border again, in violation of their treaty with Egypt.
