“Saying grace” means saying a prayer before a meal thanking God for the food in a lot of Christian churches. The joke is that they didn’t say the prayer, so the food belongs to Satan now.
I don’t know completely, but it did make me think about a time I was at a friends grandparents house. It did not occur to me wait till after every one was at the table and grace. His grandmother smack the fork out of my hand than told me to wait.
Saying grace is a prayer that the food would be nourishing and asking God to bless it so that it won’t make you sick. The practice originated back in a time when food poisoning was much more common.
So since they didn’t bless the food somehow the devil gets it.
Can anybody explain this comic to me, I legitimately don’t quite understand what the comic try to convey here…

Did you tell her it’s rude to talk to your imaginary friends at the dinner table?
No, it was her house and free food. I was not going to make a scene, I just wish someone would of told me before but no one thought of it.
I’d have wished that someone would have told me.
