Coming from baconreader one of the most useful things for me was the ability to curate a few different “front page” feed. I think Reddit had multi-Reddits which this was based on.

Also being able to set favorite communities made it possible to easily navigate these and other communities I liked to view a lot.

There are communities that i love when I am looking for something specific but I don’t necessarily want them in my front page.
