I was so hyped for Sekiro and really liked the first few hours maybe but after that I hit a wall, I’m not fast enough in my reactions and can’t get the timings right. Finished all other souls games and love From Soft this makes my heart hurt. Can’t git gud. :(
I don’t even remember. I try it every year from the scratch and begin a new game (hoping to git gud this time), last try was about a month ago but I gave up much sooner. Maybe 2025 will be the year!
I bounced off the game a couple of times too. Once it clicks, though, you can’t put it down. Same happened for me: ended up playing through the game three times and getting a platinum trophy after ~80h of playing after I had to put the game down three separate times.
If you want to get there, you will at your own pace. Don’t feel bad if you don’t, though. If FS is so adamant on not adding difficulty sliders, maybe it’s just not meant to be
