At the time of this post, Laos has no active Covid-19 cases and has recovered them all with no deaths. They also have the lowest number of total cases per 1 million people (excluding countries with no cases). In addition to that, they haven’t gained a new case since April 12th. Let’s give a little appreciation to this often forgotten country.
you see posts every now and then from people asking about Laos because its def the socialist country thats least talked about and most answers do not have great sources. If anyone reading this has such sources please do share!
Honestly most people dont even know theyre socialist.
I suspect it’s deliberate. They don’t want China, Vietnam or Korea to happen to them.
