If you link another way it will take non-lemmy.ml users to the right place without taking them off their instance:

Okay, so i don’t know anymore and if someone could educate what the best way to link a community on another instance in the way that doesn’t take you off your instance, and works on apps and other platforms like MLEM, that would be super swell! I’m going to remove my links for now.
