american cities will envelop a rail line with the noisiest apartments in the world before encroaching what, 10 meters into roadways? love a funny shaped building but it’s absurd they’re contorting to get closer to extremely loud vehicle noise instead of, idk reducing the amount of roadway which would make the area as a whole quieter

i bet you liziba’s right-next to tracks units still blow
China builds trains better
My last apartment had a balcony out back that overlooked one of the few bits of forest we have and there was a rail bridge further back. Shit ruled, I could hang out and look at birbs and sometimes trains
Is there at least an Amtrak stop at the building?
Nope, closest stop is Penn Station a hundred blocks south. It’s also in an immensely bizarre spot where it’s squeezed between the Amtrak line and the Henry Hudson parkway on one side, and a few story tall retaining wall on the other. The only way to get over to the rest of the neighborhood is either climbing the staircase at the retaining wall, walk up three blocks to 138th, or down two blocks to 133rd. Seems like a miserable location to live.
I guess at least some of them are getting a nice view, but yeah no kidding
If you’re brave there is, just have to time your jump right
Hi can I live there
