You’re sure that the email itself isn’t the scam? Like fake phone number or links that lead to fake PayPal site?
What’s the point of the scam?
I think it’s likely a refund scam, the victim is supposed to call the scammers who are pretending to be paypal to stop the transaction and it continues the traditional refund scam from there.
I had this happen. Jokes on them, I dont have that much money to begin with.
