On a journey of trying to finish games. Currently playing at some Dragon Quest XI and I just got my butt beat by the boss at the end of act 2 for the second time. I got completely tumble dried the first time walking in with my haphazard equipment and scores of unspent skill points. Second time I came correct with equipment and did way better but still spent half my time reviving party members and failing to land debuffs on bad guy. Next time I’m gonna try to be more aggressive and just try to win before I lose.

Anyone who played it have any tips for the fight? I’m not sure I want too much help with the fun of figuring it out but maybe some general directions to look at. Like “use a spear with Jade” kinda stuff.
