I found an old picture of what my boot screen used to look like. If I wanted to do it via bcedit, what would my command line be? Sorry for being so clueless, I’m just really scared I’ll brick my PC completely.
What?

I have no idea how to do this, but I’ll keep looking for a tutorial. Luckily I only use my Linux for storing my music. I wish I could have got my art software to work on Linux, they just don’t seem to want to cooperate. My WiFi adaptor also only wants to work about half the time, too.
My Linux is on a separate hard drive.
Never mind that, Windows 10 did an update a couple of days ago, and now my dual boot screen has gone. I literally can’t start my Linux Mint anymore, it boots straight to Windows :(
There is a way to get it back with the command line, but my computer nerd days are over.

I’m assuming that command needs to be edited to whatever my setup is, I have no idea.
Not shopped, unless NYP did it themselves.

Before the Ukraine invasion, I used to be able to do my weekly shop for under a fiver. Maybe £8ish if I was stocking up on store cupboard stuff. It’s more than doubled since then.
As a second gen Indian in the UK, so much of my family’s dishes are based on sauces with tomatoes and chilli, many of them have potato. But none of these are actually native to India, these would have been brought over after the colonialisation of the Americas.
My fella found this talk useful. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gnSEbLX94Tk He used to smoke the mild stuff (low THC), but it’s the cigarettes he’s been struggling with. He’s on his third attempt, but after using the technique (TL;DW: your brain doesn’t understand negative commands, replace it with a positive command. Instead of “I need a joint”, try “I need air” or “I need clarity” or whatever feeling you’re aiming for) he’s feeling a lot more positive that he’ll stick with it this time. I tried to get him to read the Allen Carr stuff, but he’s not much of a reader. Other people swear by it though. It’s available on a certain library beginning with z if you want to give it a taster. Also learning a new skill can give you the same dopamine hit that your addiction does, so take up a hobby, learn a language, etc.
Good luck!
I actively used it to backup my art files onto USB, up until last year when it kept giving me error messages when I tried to update it, so I thought, screw it, manual drag and drop. I’m not sure if the amount or size of files got too big for it. Up till then, it was great for backups as it would automatically detect what had been updated and only transfer those files.
Same, I tried ecosia too, only to get the same error.
Don’t, you’re making me cry :'(
My nephew has moss growing out of his bike saddle.
My old Lenovo tablet has the USB port upside down on the plug, and consequently, the micro USB also plugs into the tablet upside down. And for some reason, stupid thing always breaks the little notches on the micro USB, so you have to position everything in a way so that it won’t slide out while charging.
I’m 39 and my hips are already gone and I have trigger thumb.
When my nephew caught covid, the school told his parents to keep sending his two siblings to school. My niece tested positive for covid a day or two later.
Clyde Loakes, the councillor who led the introduction of the schemes, faced numerous threats to his safety. “There were some pretty hairy interviews with the police about some of the stuff that was coming my way,” he recalled.
Freaking heck. Let me guess, they were all drivers getting butthurt.
Walthamstow isn’t too far from my area, I’d love to see it expand here. I’m so sick of the Chelsea tractors.
I’m like that with violent scenes, even though I know it’s fake and no one is getting hurt, I still get highly distressed. I wasn’t always like that, it got to that point more in my late 20s I think. I can play fighting games and such like just fine, although the bit in Witcher 3 when one of the women gets her face slammed on a table made me upset.
I’m a lot like that too. An article about a person I never knew dying can leave my heart aching days, weeks or even years later. I see a stranger crying and I start to cry too. And yet other things can leave me feeling nothing. My mum is in severe pain from terminal cancer and there are moments when it gets to me, but other times I feel almost nothing and I can’t tell if it’s because I’m just a heartless cow or I’m doing a really good job blocking it out (schizoid skills ftw).
I have three yahoo email accounts I still use, the oldest from about 1997 and surprisingly, the spam folder on that one rarely gets anything. (The other two are leftovers from when you had to get a yahoo account to make a geocities site). I really like the disposable addresses. Luckily I signed up back when you could have 10 on one of them. Then they ditched it for free users, but brought it back with the three limit. But I got to keep my 10.
Excite was my jam though. I was sad when I lost my excite accounts.
Thanks. It was actually F12, I managed to catch it for the split second it showed; for some reason it doesn’t always show the commands when I switch it on.
This is what I got.
I selected Ubuntu and I got my choice back again. I hope i don’t have to do this every time I boot though.
Thank you for being so patient with me.
