Oh I’m sorry if my post was confusing, I didn’t mean that the icon is still the Reddit Sync one, it’s the ugly Jerboa one. But muscle memory is the stronger factor for me, so it works well

I simply replaced the Reddit Sync shortcut with Jerboa on my phone, works wonders for me :) just need to find a few good replacement communities
