“It’s the hope that kills you”
A place for everything, everything in it’s place.
I second alarms. I use them throughout the day to prompt me to get a task completed. Also, everything for the task has to be nearby. I happened upon the concept from a food server. All items for their tasks were at their station. Now, take it step further and try to chain tasks by having one end where the next action begins.

Noice! I’m gonna use that
SHSLM - Small Handed, Shitty Language Model
I read it as “Old Farts Baptist” at first glance
If that doesn’t work, try whacking the edges with a heavy handled butter knife
I’m not sure why I used it, I don’t even know if I’ve used it in a real conversation. Felt good in the moment I guess? Maybe it was the memory of his failed casino that inspired me?
I fear you are right. Though the original Teflon Don got his eventually.
Gotti died of throat cancer on June 10, 2002, at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri.
Good point. What’s the over/under that it stricter?
Disappointed that it isn’t real
Glad we don’t wear those shirts anymore!
That’s how I read it too! Lol. I can see Matt Gaetz yiffing around the floor of congress
“See, Big Government, is the problem, they can’t even do their job right, much less run country” - Republican Representatives
In this article, the interviewed person explicitly denounced Hamas. It might not be the case in other places, but there is room to support the victims on both sides, and denounce the both governments that lead to this terrible situation. Hamas was elected, but then fixed it so they can’t be removed from power. Israeli officials, specifically Bibi, benefited from having Hamas in power to motivate by fear. Hamas has support from Iran because it’s easier to antagonizing Israel through Hamas. Egypt doesn’t want Hamas, they won’t even open their boarders. There are no good guys here. Israel denied a Palestine state from the beginning. Israeli settlers near Gaza are conducting pogroms, clearing out entire villages, murdering Palestinians. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/8/israeli-lawmaker-blames-pogroms-against-palestinians-for-terrible-attacks
I play Arena every day, and in-person with two friends on the weekend. I’m getting back in after leaving the game a long time ago. Life got in the way, mostly drinking and cavorting, but now I’m back. Arena has really helped to learn all the different aspects of MTG today. It’s improved my in person play considerably. The idea of drafting is intimidating. There is a lot of pressure to make a decision, and I don’t have enough experience or knowledge to get a deck with a chance to won at least once. Someday though, I’ll be at the LGS to draft.
Suggestion: Make it worse - Make it worser
We are our worst enemy. There was an interesting piece on NPR (might be a TED Talk) about how our brains see our future selves the same as a stranger. Meaning we have the same amount of goodwill and empathy as for a random stranger on the street. Like, if you see someone in the rain without an umbrella, then think “sucks to be them” well, that is you tomorrow. Weird
I’m not a doctor, but those meds can’t be safe. Some can last a while, but those are sealed. If yours are in a bottle, they can go bad, absorb moisture, and go stale. That’s what I’ve been told by others.
Trap door, definitely a Bond villain style trap door.
