Hahahaha. So true!
I know I like a game when I start it at 5pm and then two seconds later it’s 11pm and I tell myself I’ll just finish this one quest and then boom it’s now 1230.
Looks like the I can’t believe you haven’t fed me yet look.
I sit on my couch trying so hard to get myself to get up and do chores. Most days I cannot. I’m too spent from the week and the weekend is never long enough to recharge and also get something done.
Damn that’s rough. I’ve been with my company just over ten years. Every boss I’ve had as I moved up and around has been great. I couldn’t imagine (literally and figuratively) working for someone awful. I don’t know what I would do.
I have both and didn’t realize there was a known overlap. Thanks!
Those eyes. Cutie patootie.
Welcome to the club! For me it was just nice having explanations for things. Instead of just labeling myself as a lazy weirdo, I can try to be easier on myself knowing normal things are just more difficult for me.
Hahahaha. That last one got me.
Damn I’m sorry you seem to have such a horrible boss. My boss actually has a son with autism so I don’t worry much about it. I hope you someday get a boss that isn’t an ahole.
Good luck! I emailed the same person I got my autism test from and was doing therapy with until, due to a scheduling thing, it just fell off. I never got an email back, so now I’m just here struggling through life and not being able to keep up with anything. I hope your test goes well and you are able to get the help you need!
I tried this, but upvoting didn’t seem to work well. I would click to upvote and it would change and then immediately go back like I didn’t click on it at all. Not sure if it’s a me problem or a refresh thing or something.
I’m staying unless they drop all that nonsense.
I think you just unlocked a memory. It is so difficult for me to understand when people are talking too slow. I can’t remember what words were at the beginning by the time we get to the end. I always have to watch everything with subtitles.
I wish I could do audiobooks. I don’t know if it’s my autism making it more difficult to process auditory information or what, but audiobooks are even more difficult for me. I love podcasts though, since that is just casual conversation and I never get too lost even if I zone out and miss something.
