If they were really supreme court justices they would have made the law illegal. Imagine trying to tell the SCOTUS that they’re beholden to the legislature.

I mean, if you lean too hard into calling Trump a fascist, you have to start justifying why all the Democratic Party policies are the same as his. If you’re trying to be a mainstream pundit, you can’t call both parties fascists with little to no sunlight between them, even if it’s demonstrably and obviously true.

I’m glad that these robots won’t be able to do any of that and this is all a big, dumb waste of time. It would be so awful if these things were real in any meaningful sense.

I’m not surprised these plans leaked. There are so many reasons to not want a war with Iran, and so many stakeholders who would want to avoid it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the state department itself arranged to have it leaked so that they could get credit for the planning, but then not actually have it happen. Absolutely bananas that this was even a possibility.

Trump has always been the better candidate on foreign policy for that exact reason. That, and his administration is more likely to fuck up whatever it is they try to do.

Might as well put Ukraine, BLM, and Islam up there while you’re at it. Near as I can tell, the only clear difference between the two parties is on abortion, and even then the difference seems mostly rhetorical. One side is saying “states’ rights” gleefully while the other side is saying “states’ rights” mournfully. Other than that, you’d have trouble telling them apart if you just looked at policy.
