See for me it’s the “you can now shut down your pc” message so I know I can shut down the uselessly huge toggle on the front of my tower.

It’s such a different type of stress (and job), people can find fulfilment in either of those while feeling overwhelmed by the other.

Hopefully car manufacturers goes a different direction as electronic and appliances company went. Everyone I know that are into EVs went through 2 or 3 different one in the time I’ve owned my ICE car (~10 years). Most because of their lease ending and wanting the absolute newest but others due to battery issues making the car a total loss due to replacement cost.

Working (in French) with lot of people that are native English speakers, this one never gets old. We usually answer with “We know, that’s why your wage is subsidized”.

Don’t expect much more from the rest of the game, it’s a visual masterpiece but it’s a game of patience.

I “finished” the game but then ended up looking the ending on YouTube at 5x speed. I should have known that “imma just finish this game real quick before I go to sleep” wasn’t possible.

I don’t know why these discussion are often met with “if you’re not ready to lose your car you’re the problem” narrative.

I might not be ready to lose my car but I sure as hell am ready to lose coal based electricity, the military complex, single use plastic, billionaire who prefer to let a train derail than spend money on regulations, and a shit ton other things that wouldn’t even affect my day to day life other than make it safer.
