If it’s true that it used to be a mobile game, then I couldn’t tell when I was playing it on steam.
It’s a very cute JRPG, no microtransactions, DLCs are entirely cosmetic (and the game still has some customization options in the base game). In general, there’s no shady mobile monetization schemes in the game, if that’s what you are worried about.
The game is a bit on the easier side after the beginning bit (though you can choose to just not level of you want challenge). The story is pretty cute. Nothing ground breaking, but I had a lot of fun seeing the characters throughout the story.
Volume 6 is my absolute favorite, I’m so glad it’s about to air! What we can see in the trailer already looks really good!
Thank you! ^^ I’m still getting used to posting on the fediverse since I don’t know the communities that well yet, but I’ll keep posting more on here!
Oh, thanks for pointing this out! I mostly posted the other two variations because I needed to draw them anyway to properly paint the main image, but I hadn’t realized how much of a negative space the missing cape would really leave. I’ll keep it in mind for my next images. ^^
Such a pretty picture.
The game is very much worth it. It is one of my favorite games in the series. If you are new to the Atelier series, Sophie is a really good entry point.
Thank you! And thanks for the advice, I’ll try to make some more prominent/ sharp shadows in my next picture. ^^
I am one of these 5% of people, and haven’t regretted it since I switched when Win7’s support ran out. Unfortunately, I still need to use Windows for work, but since most stuff at work is done in MS Office or browser, it’s managable.
