Rand founded and describes it as “the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute”. A society where every person strives only for their on happiness and as the main character in the world is arguably one of the least viable social systems. That is pretty much the set up of an oligarchy.
