I use it because it’s simple and is a native app that syncs across nicely. Don’t really care about custom fonts or other features, as I just want to read a book.

This happened to me a lot in the past but disabling “Attention-Aware Features” seems to have fixed the issue. I feel like any movement would put the alarm on silent if this was turned on.

Battery life being worse on the smaller phone is no surprise, at all.

If the camera is also bad, then maybe yours is defective. I’ve got an X that I was playing around this morning because I’m about to sell it, and the camera is worse on the X, and I’d assume it’s the same on the Xs lineups.
