I don’t wear mine when I’m at home but a lot of that was from my prior AW 4 with sport band being uncomfortable for me to wear for extended periods of time which I’m trying to change since the Milanese loop on my new watch is much more comfortable.

As he figures out what exactly he wants to use the phone for have him (or do it for him) start customizing the Home Screen accordingly. Example if he wants to quickly call/text certain contacts show him that he can add those widgets to the Home Screen
If both are the same price 13 since it has a more modern processor and more importantly cellular modem.

I’ve learned how to customize the new interface to work for me.
It’s also very nice that the newest beta build bright back swipe to change watch faces.
I charge my series 7 (came with the newer quick charger) with the charger from my old series 4 because I didn’t have any extra USB c wall plugs at the time and no issues.
If you’re not going to go to iOS 17 at least update to the latest version of 16 for security patches.
