the fact that kids can leave school without the first idea of how renting a house, mortgaging a house or how our taxation system works (at least an overview) is rather criminal IMHO.

This is exactly what I had at school. They called it 'Core ‘RE’. I learned about hindus, islam, christianity and all sorts of other stuff. It was not a mandatory GCSE though, but you could take an RE GCSE, I did not.
I agree with this. I was recently diagnosed in my 40’s.
I have been working for my company for over 20 years now, in PLC control systems. The tech industry is kind of perfect for my mind, I can hyperfocus on my work and get real good results. It fits me well because it’s logic, which is not ambiguous. If I tried to work in something like sales or marketing I’d be hopeless as I’d do daft things like tell people the actual truth about the thing I’m selling them and stuff like that. Lol, I’d be the salesman every customer wants but no employer ever wants.
They’re taking the piss out of us metalheads!

If I saw you in Clacton.

If I saw you in Clacton.
Said it before and I’ll say it again:

This same mentality applied to the music industry for decades is what’s lead to the avalanche of talentless manufactured dross that you have to pick the decent artists out of.
There are certain sorts of references that we might pull back on now.
I see what they did there.
Eventually we’ll only have female artists, who the hell is going to pay top dollar to see bon jovis hairy sweaty arse?
we’ve returned to the days of record labels and box offices railroading, using and abusing artists to make billions without a care in the world for the artist.
The cracks are starting to show.
