All 100% correct unfortunately. These companies put in micro transactions because they make a boatload of money off of them. End of story. Til that changes, they will continue to shoehorn them into games to sustain the unsustainable infinite growth/profit model. Until pissing us off costs them more than they gain from it, it ain’t gonna change.
Loved Disco Elysium. My buddy couldn’t get into it. I was surprised… and bummed. I thought it was so damn… literary. Just fantastic.
I’ve run into a deal breaking issue for me. Functions kind of like ‘reverse mouse acceleration.’ Faster I move the mouse the slower the camera moves. If I try to make a quick turn during a gunfight it remains basically stationary. Tried adjusting every setting and can’t get it resolved. Only behaves like that in the emulator. Really bummed because I REALLY want to play it.

Good way of putting it. That’ll be the biggest loss for me personally. So so so many issues or problems or troubleshooting I’ve found the answer in past Reddit threads.
Don’t know about Germany, but in the U.S. it’s just fear mongering. Once you convince your side that the other side is a bunch of baby killing, child genital mutilating, corrupt, Satan worshipping libtards that want to get paid to sit around all day leaching off your hard work, oh and don’t forget they wanna take your guns away so you can’t “protect your family”… then you can justify doing anything and everything to them.
I’ve never understood how the “keep the government out of my life” party is also the “I disagree with the way you live your life so I’m going to ban your very existence” party. Do they not see the hypocrisy? What a complete and utter lack of self awareness.
Undead Nightmare on PC emulated with Xenia. Had just finished the original Red Dead Redemption using the same. Finally went for it when Rockstar made it obvious there wasn’t going to be a PC remaster (and I upgraded my PC so I could play it at non potato fps since emulating is pretty intense). Had just started Cyberpunk 2077 but had stopped as I didn’t want to get too far along since the new expansion was going to add/change a lot.
Anyway it was awesome to finally play RDR. Always wanted to but never had a console (nor did I want one) to play it on. Undead Nightmare looks to be good fun too though I’m maybe just an hour into it. Just killing time til Cyberpunk expansion drops.
